They need standard operating prosedures

A month ago I went to Sorong City, a city part of West Papua Province, Eastern Indonesia. I went there fulfilling invitation from Mr. Elia Mulu's office. My job there is to train his officers to write Standard Operating Procedures.
Sorong is also known as Oil City. It produces its oil to supply the need of energy not only Papua Island but also whole Indonesia. Through is oil production, Sorong has been the highest regional pure income. Sorong also contributes Gross National Product from oil production. Due to its natural richness, they need to manage their all income in order that they can accomplish their goal and vision.
The form of the training is valued proper to improve officers' competency in writing SOP. The training itself was followed by forty officers form all officer under City of Sorong administration. The learning process in enjoyable because all material was in form of practice. All participants brought their own computer or laptop so as to they can directly do the instruction given by the instructor.

At the end of training they perform their result, i.e. SOP they had written and I, as the instructor, checked work sheet, procedures, and identity to prove that their work was valid. I love teaching them, because they were so enthusiastic participating in the training.

When closing ceremony, the assistant of secretary of Sorong City put forward to thanking us. And he hoped I can also give the same training to all his 2nd Level Managers. The goal is to make them realise how improtance the SOP is. Specially, to leverage their officers' performance. (***)
